Awareness Support
A.F.E. will host, promote, and manage E.D.G.E., (Every Day Guide to Entertainment). All A.F.E. Enhanced level members will receive free listing in EDGE. In addition to artists listings, performance/showing entities will be listed as well. In essence this service will be an online directory of artists and as well a directory of outlets where art may be performed or showcased. A.F.E. will maintain a section on results from the artists perspective as well as the booking resource. This will aid the artist in having information on venues. We will attempt in all areas to list with the booking resources what is available to the artist at the location. Such as display information, staging, sound, lighting, and audience capacity and preferences.
The booking resources will have the advantage of verifying the accuracy of artists descriptions as well as location details. In our research we have found that many booking resources have had negative experiences in booking remote talent. That being sample work submitted was not current, and justification of fees based on artist's popularity, style, and professionalism. On the other side, many performers traveling have found indicated facilities not available or inadequate, thus negatively effecting the performance.
Sexually explicit and hate based materials will not be accepted.
